Courts Rules Pasadena City Attorney Did Not Commit Fraud in the McDade OIR Report litigation

A los Angeles County Superior Court judge dismissed without comment court papers filed  in the Public Records Act litigation over release of the Office of Independent Review Group (“OIR”) Report on the Pasadena Police Department killing of the unarmed African-American youth Kendrec McDade an accusation that the Pasadena City Attorney’s Office fraudulently misrepresented that an administrative investigation of the killing had occurred when there was no such investigation, as attorneys for McDade’s mother and Pasadena organizations seeking police reform had alleged.
