Caltech Performing and Visual Arts Announce a Chamber Music Recital by Martin Chalifour

Caltech Performing and Visual Arts presents a chamber music recital by Martin Chalifour, Principal Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Visiting Associate at Caltech.

This event will take place on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:00 pm in Dabney Lounge, featuring soprano Liv Redpath, rising star from the L.A. Opera, in a program with Mozart’s exquisite Exsultate Jubilate and Vivaldi’s In furore iustissimae irae.

The program includes baroque concerti of Telemann, the rarely performed Grieg String Quartet in G minor and the enthralling Kodaly Serenade for strings trio.

Also joining Mr. Chalifour will be Peter Lloyd (Colburn School), U.S.C. students Klemen and Klara Krklec ,Yelin Park and Juliette Herlin, and Caltech students Sean Byrne, Kathleen Kennedy and Wesley Yu.

Seating is extremely limited, and by reservation only. Please e-mail cdemesa@caltech.edu if you would like to attend. Due to high demand, a seat is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation e-mail. If there are no more seats available, please note if you would like to be put on the waiting list. On the day of the event, at 6:55 pm, reservations will be released on a first come, first served basis. Once Dabney Lounge is at full capacity, doors will close, and additional seating will not be accommodated.
