Caltech’s Entrepreneurs Forum returns with its next event in its 2019/20 series. Success and Fail-ure: Entrepreneurial Insights and Inspiration will take place at the Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics, 1216 E. California Boulevard, Pasadena, on Saturday, January 25. The innovation food chain includes inventors, founders, investors and employees. But what factors do successful start-ups have in common? When co-founders’ visions diverge, whose will the board support and why? Our panel of accomplished entrepreneurs and investment executives will dis-cuss when, why and how they got it right, highlighting oft-overlooked elements of success. Coffee and networking begin at 8 AM with the program running from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Early admission is $30 for adults and $20 for students plus applicable fees.

The program will have presentations from Julie Schoenfeld, Entrepreneur in Residence, Caltech, David Waxman, Managing Partner, TenOneTen Venture Partners, Abbas Rafii, Ph.D., Adviser and Co-Founder, Aquifi, and Bill Woodward, Partner, Anthem Ventures Partners. Shaun P. Lee, Patent Attorney, Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP, and Michael (Mickey) Krieger, Ph.D., At-torney at Law, Krieger Law Office & UCLA Computer Science Department, are producing the event.
