A motorist suffered moderate injuries when he slammed his vehicle into a one-story Pasadena home, a fire official said, leaving eight people inside the residence temporarily homeless.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to 136 E. Washington Blvd. at 11:07 p.m. Wednesday, said Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire Department.
Paramedics transported the motorist, the lone occupant in his vehicle, to an area hospital, Derderian said
The four occupants – four adults and four children — inside the home were displaced, due to the damage sustained during the crash, she said. The home sustained $25,000 worth of damage. No one inside the residence was reported injured.
Red Cross was called in to provide temporary shelter for the eight people.
