El Portal offers both private rooms and customized menus for your special events. Planning a huge party or a small family gathering, El Portal has you covered.

 

You can choose either the Maya Room with a maximum seating of 75 people or their new charming Vanessa’s Cafe located just across from the main entrance of El Portal, we can seat small groups for meetings or private parties of 45 or less.

 

Based on the number of guests you could be served Buffet style or they will print a special menu for your event which usually includes three entrée choices along with a salad and a beverage consisting of a soft drink, tea or coffee. Dessert can be offered at $ 3.00 to $ 4.00 per order. For parties of 30 people or more buffet service is very recommended – can choose from the number of delicious options.

 

Mexican Buffet includes a Bowl of Mexican salad (Baby corn, jicama, cucumber and tomato) with balsamic vinaigrette. Your choice of two or three of the following partial list of entrees: Tilapia a la Veracruz, Chicken Monica, Steak or Chicken Picado, Mini chicken Mexican tamales with red sauce, served with rice and pinto bean and flour and corn tortillas.

 

Nuevo Latino includes a bowl of Mexican salad (Baby corn, jicama, cucumber and tomato) with balsamic vinaigrette, Your choice of two of the following: Marinated Chicken breast accompanied with chipotle sauce, Grilled Top Sirloin steak with guajillo chile cream sauce or Fillet of fresh Salmon with tomatillo sauce, vegetables in season, saffron rice or Mexican potatoes, rolls and butter or tortillas if you wish instead.

 

Yucatan Buffet includes a bowl of Mexican salad (Baby corn, jicama, cucumber and tomato) with balsamic vinaigrette, your choice of two of the following: Cochinita Pibil, PolloenEscabeche, Bistec de Cazuela, Polloen Mole or Lomitos de Valladolidjust to mention a few of our delectable Mayan entrees, your choice of cheese or spinach enchiladas and rice and black beans.
