Members of Los Altos Auxiliary are creating beautiful handcrafted floral centerpieces, which are available for purchase this Thanksgiving holiday. All proceeds from the centerpiece sales benefit the boys, ages 6-18, who reside at the Hathaway-Sycamores’ residential treatment facility in Altadena. “Our popular Thanksgiving Centerpieces are a wonderful way to support the children served by Hathaway-Sycamores,” said Jennifer Herzer, who is co-chair of the fundraiser, along with Connie Sutherland. “Each centerpiece is delivered to your door just in time for the holiday, is handcrafted with the freshest materials from the L.A. Flower Mart and is sure to add a seasonal touch to your holiday table. They also make a terrific hostess gift,” added Connie.
The year’s beautiful centerpiece comes in the deep cream, burgundy and green accents of fall. It includes elegant cream roses, green hydrangeas, deep burgundy amaranthus, baby artichokes and hypericum berries all in a beautiful birch container measuring 10 x 5 x 5 inches. Centerpieces are $80.00 each and orders need to be received by November 10th for delivery on Monday, November 20th to homes in La Canada, La Crescenta, Pasadena, San Marino, South Pasadena, Altadena, Glendale, Tujunga, and Sunland. Orders outside the delivery area can be picked up at Hathaway-Sycamores’ headquarters office in Pasadena on Tuesday, November 21st or Wednesday, 22nd from 9am to 5pm. Quantities are limited and orders will be honored on a first come, first served basis.
