An upper trough brought a cooling trend into southwestern California Sunday with temperatures slightly below normal through midweek. Locally, it could be windy through Tuesday, after which an upper level high pressure brings in warmer weather Thursday through Saturday.
Monday will show some patchy fog before noon, then it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 79. A north wind blows at around five miles per hour, becoming west southwest in the afternoon.
Monday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 55 and a west southwest wind of five to 10 mph becoming north after midnight.
Tuesday will be sunny, with a high near 82. Calm southwest winds prevail.
Tuesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 57.
Wednesday is going to be sunny, with a high near 82, and Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 62.
