Clothing Sale Arranged On Social Media Ends in Knife Attack

A young Glendale man who arranged to sell clothing at a meeting set up online over social media fell victim to a robbery at knifepoint early this morning, police say.

Pasadena Police Sgt. John Mercado said the 18-year-old victim apparently was not hurt in the incident, which was reported at 12:18 a.m. in the 2700 block of East Colorado Blvd.

Mercado said the suspect, described as an Hispanic man in his thirties, took an unknown amount of clothing and fled in a blue KIA automobile.
