Cooler Temps, Chance of Showers Friday Leads into Warm Start of Next Week

A deep moist layer continues over San Gabriel Valley into Thursday, bringing the possibility of a light drizzle over Pasadena and the rest of the valley.

By Sunday, slightly below normal temperatures are expected to warm to above normal as a ridge pops up from the southwest. Overall maximum temperatures could jump eight to 10 degrees Sunday and another four to eight degrees Monday, the National Weather Service said.

Thursday should be mostly cloudy, with a high near 67, and a south wind around five mph.

Thursday night could see a 20 percent chance of showers and should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. A southwest wind around five mph becomes calm after midnight.

Friday should also see a 20 percent chance of showers. It should be partly sunny, with a high near 67. A calm wind becomes southwest in the afternoon.

Saturday should be partly sunny, with a high near 73. Saturday night should be partly cloudy, with a low around 55.
