Craftoberfest Comes to Pasadena

More than 30 of Southern California’s top craft breweries and unique food vendors will be joining the first ever Craftoberfest Los Angeles Saturday, October 13, at Brookside Golf Course, just behind the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Celebrating the beer month of October, Craftoberfest will be give attendees either a five-ounce or a 12-ounce tasting glass upon entry, and they can enjoy limitless free pours of craft beer. The food and drink festival takes inspiration from the world’s largest “Volksfest” (beer festival) in Germany.

During Craftoberfest, first-class restaurants from all over Pasadena and Los Angeles will serve traditional and fan favorite foods for the internationally loved holiday.

Among the best breweries coming to Pasadena are the Alesmith Brewing Company, Allagash Brewing Company, Arrow Lodge Brewing, Arts District Brewing Company, Boomtown Brewery, Bottle Logic Brewing, Brouwerij Verhaeghe, Craftsman Brewing, Eagle Rock Brewery, Einstok Beer, El Segundo Brewing Company, Figuroa Mountain Brewing Co., Highland Park Brewery, Hofbrauhaus, Indie Brewing Company, LA Ale Works Brewery, Liberation Brewing, Long Beach Beer Lab, Modern Times Brewery, Noble Ale Works, Perry Miloslawski, Relentless Brewing Co, Sage Bistro, Smog City Brewing, St. Bernardus Brewery, State Brewing Co., Stone Brewing, Ten Mile Brewing Co., Three Weavers Brewing Company, Trustworthy Brewing, Unibroue Brewing, Weihenstephan and Yorkshire Square Brewery.

All-you-can-drink beer comes with purchase of a ticket and food is available at an additional cost.

Craftoberfest is a 21-and-over event, and children 10 and under may only be allowed entry if accompanied by an adult.

VIP Admission at $50 provides patrons a 12-ounce large glass and access to the event one hour prior to the general public. VIP Admission ticketholders can enter at 12:30 p.m.

Those with General Admission tickets, at $30 each, receive a standard glass upon entry and can access to the event from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Last pour is at 5 p.m. Food is not included in the passes.

Parking is $10 and entrance is in Lot K at The Rose Bowl. However, public transportation is highly recommended, as well as ride share or bicycles.
