Crown City Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Paul Sherman, will present two concerts Nov. 18, 2:00 p.m. at the Altadena Community Church, 943 E. Altadena Drive, and Nov. 19, 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Pasadena,75 N. Marengo. Featured soloist will be Jeanine Wynton, violinist performing Mozart Violin Concert #5.
Jeanine Wynton has performed as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician in major concert halls across Europe,Russia, the United States, South America, New Zealand and Israel. She has won prizes in the Pasadena Showcase Instrumental Competition,and many other competitions. She is a current member of the North Carolina Symphony in Raleigh and has been assistant concertmaster with the Richmond Symphony & Birmingham Philharmonic in New York. She is a graduate of La Canada High School and Yale University.
The orchestra will be performing Tchaikovsky’s “Mozartiana”
