Custom Made Jewelry at Navarro’s Creations

Not your typical jewelry store, Navarro’s Creations specializes in handmade custom-designed jewelry that is unique and creative.

Yamilly Navarro, the jewelry designer at Navarro’s Creations, uses a special technique which she calls a “family secret” to create her jewelry.  Navarro explains that the process is very technical, but basically, she weaves gold wires (similar to weaving cloth) to produce bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings, and other types of accessories.

She picks up one of her creations, a bracelet, and explains, “when I move the wires, I move three wires at a time.”  Since Navarro needs to bend and weave the wires many times, it is important to her to use high quality gold so that it doesn’t break.  Since the process is so meticulous, it can take weeks just to produce one piece, but it is well worth the wait.
