Dana Taschner Named One of America’s Best Attorneys

The oldest peer-review publication in the legal profession named a Los Angeles trial lawyer one of America’s best attorneys, it was reported today.

In naming Dana Taschner one of America’s top lawyers, Best Lawyers said Taschner “possesses the perfect combination of knowledge, experience and social skills.”

”Unlike many attorneys who have oversized egos and something to prove, Dana simply gets down to business and has a tremendous reputation for getting the job done,” said Best Lawyers, in its assessment of Taschner.

Taschner, 54, started his law firm in 1991. His firm has also been selected to the 2015 U.S. News & World Report “Best Law Firms” based on an evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, and peer review from leading attorneys in specific fields.

”An attorney myself, I have seen firsthand how much our country needs people in my field who care enough about their clients to commit themselves personally, as well as professionally,” said U.S. Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada).

”Many litigators find it much easier to take the cases that bring financial gain, rather than attempting to help the true victims of justice,” Reid said.

Taschner began his career as an associate attorney in 1986 in Costa Mesa at Rutan and Tucker, one of the oldest and largest firms in his native Orange County.
