State Assemblymember Chris Holden (D-41), along with U.S. Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-27), and Congressman Adam Schiff (D-28), all of whom represent Pasadena in Sacramento and Washington D.C., easily won re-election to their respective seats in the general election Tuesday.
The results are as of 1 a.m, Wednesday, November 7.
Chu defeated Pasadena resident and political newcomer Bryan Witt, an Amtrak operations manager, 78.5% to 21.5%. Witt ran an unsuccessful race for City Council in 2016.
Congressman Adam Schiff, whose district represents a portion of North Pasadena, also handily defeated Republican Johnny Nalbandian 76.22 % to 23.78%.
State Assemblymember and former Pasadena Mayor Chris Holden bested Alan S. Reynolds 65.45% to 34.55%.
Though not all precincts had been counted by publication time, all three candidates had declared victory.
