Robbery Suspect Sought

A shoplifting turned robbery went bad at a local Ralphs market located at 3601 Foothill Blvd., Lt. Russ of the Pasadena Police Dept. said this afternoon.

As of 6:30 p.m., Lt. George of the PPD said there were no additional details and updates may be available by tomorrow morning.

The alleged shoplifting/robbery occurred just before 4 p.m. today.

Details are still forthcoming. However, Lt. Russ stated the suspect attempted to shoplift some goods. Circumstances apparently escalated the shoplifting to a robbery. During the course of the alleged robbery, the suspect apparently was injured.

Lt. Russ added additional details of the case will be made available over the course of the next hour.
