Duplicate Days Dominate Work Week’s Weather: Highs in 90’s, Nights in 70’s

Hot weather will again dominate the first part of the incoming week as another high pressure ridge builds into Southern California.

A Forecast Discussion from the National Weather Service says the high pressure will bring “another round of heat to many areas away from the coast through Wednesday,” although “some relief is expected by the middle of next week as the high pressure gradually weakens and shifts to the east.”

A Hazardous Weather Outlook is in effect for Pasadena saying “well above normal temperatures will create heat related hazards through Tuesday for people outside or inside without air conditioning.”

Monday starts of minimla patchy fog showing early then mostly cloudy  through mid-morning, gradually clearing to usher in another hot day, highs near 96, lows around 70 Monday night.

Some patchy fog again will show before 11 a.m. Tuesday, then it will be mostly sunny and hot with a high near 96. Wind will be from the east becoming south southwest in the morning at five to 10 mph.

Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 68.

Wednesday will have patchy fog before 11 a.m. then mostly sunny and hot with a high near 97, and low around 67.

A gradual cooling trend begins Thursday with a high near 94 and low around 65 as the high pressure eases up and shifts eastward.

Thursday – Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 94.

Thursday Night – Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.

Friday – Patchy fog. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 91.

Friday Night – Patchy fog. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 63.

Saturday – Patchy fog. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 89.
