Early Morning House Fire Displaces Three

An early morning fire Thursday sparked by a plumbers torch caused $125,000 to a home in the 900 block of North Hudson Avenue, fire department officials said.

Firefighters arriving shortly after 4 a.m. discovered the fire active in the attic and walls of the living room and confined the blaze to those two areas.

There were no reported injuries, however two adults and one child were displaced by the blaze, authorities said.
