East Pasadena Bowling Alley Blaze Results in More Water Than Fire Damage

A small blaze in an East Pasadena bowling alley caused more water damage than fire damage early Saturday morning.

The Arcadia and Pasadena Fire Departments and Pasadena police responded to a 4:11 a.m. fire alarm activation at the Bowl More bowling alley in the 3500 block of East Foothill Boulevard, according to authorities.

Smoke detectors and sprinklers quickly knocked down the blaze, and the blaze did not spread, authorities said.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

The flowing water caused approximately $10,000 in water damage, the Pasadena Fire Department estimates.
