During the closure, crews will pave roadway across from the ramp.
Starting the night of Feb. 6, drivers will not be able to use the eastbound I-210 Foothill Boulevard on-ramp.
For access to eastbound I-210, drivers can use the Berkshire Place on-ramp off Oak Grove Drive or the Angeles Crest Highway on-ramps near Foothill Boulevard.
Both eastbound Angeles Crest Highway on-ramps (northbound and southbound) have been closed since Jan. 2, but will reopen Feb. 6.
Detour and message signs about the scheduled closure will be posted.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead, and use the Caltrans QuickMap at quickmap.dot.ca.gov for information on travel conditions. The app is free on Google Play and the App Store.
Drivers are also reminded to be “Work Zone Alert” and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
About the I-210 Pavement Rehabilitation Project
The Foothill Boulevard on-ramp closure is part of a $148.5 million pavement rehabilitation project for a 9.7 mile section of I-210 from the La Crescenta-Montrose area of Los Angeles County to Pasadena. The new surface will provide a smoother ride for drivers and reduce the need for regular maintenance and further lane closures. The project started in Spring 2015, and is scheduled to be complete in Summer 2018.
