Eid al-Fitr: Breaking The Fast At New Horizon School

Eid Mubarak, everyone! The end of Ramadan is a joyful time when Muslims all over the world, who have been fasting to show their devotion, break their fast, and throw a feast to celebrate.

New Horizon School in Pasadena celebrates Eid al-Fitr, the end of Ramadan, by having a great day of fun, excitement, and great food for the whole family to enjoy at their Eid Breakfast on June 15.

After spending an entire month in sawm, or fasting, from dawn to sundown, Muslims are finally permitted to eat. It’s a time of great celebration, and New Horizon School is putting on quite the shindig.

There will be great breakfast items to eat, like fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, foul, falafel, labneh, cheese and olives, donuts, muffins and a choice of fruit to add some tang and sweetness to the meal. On top of that there will also be games, carnival rides, and face painting for everyone to enjoy. Once you have your face looking right, you can go get some pictures at the photobooth that will be available for your pleasure.

The joy of celebrating this most important holiday with friends and family can’t be understated. So, take your family and go have some great times and great food at the end of this Ramadan, and celebrate the wonder that is New Horizon School as they bring unity to the folks of Pasadena.
