Eliot Arts Magnet Academy is holding its first Eliot Arts Annual Fund Auction and Benefit on Saturday, November 3, 6 to 9 p.m., at the Altadena Town and Country Club.

All ticket sales and proceeds will directly benefit the Eliot Arts Magnet Academy Arts Program, which includes classroom support for teachers, visual and performing arts programs, dance and music programs, and support for technology that’s necessary for students in the 21st century.

The Eliot Arts Annual Fund is targeting to raise up to $50,000 this year to sustain the school’s arts program, according to the Fund’s newsletter.

A message from Jennifer Lee, Chairperson for the Eliot Arts Magnet Academy Annual Fund, said tickets to the Auction and Benefit are $50 each and includes appetizers and drinks. Eliot Arts parents can buy tickets for $25 up to October 21.

The silent auction includes restaurant certificates at Bacchus, a trip to Mexico, a certificate for Pilates Pasadena, a Hoopla basket, art from Altadena artists, cakes, and cooking classes.

The live auction includes a trip to Mexico, a guided hike through Millard Canyon by Tim Martinez of Arroyo Foothills Conservancy, and a private tour of Altadena’s Mountain View Mausoleum.
