Employers will be Interviewing Candidates at Rose City Church Job Fair

Job seekers will have the chance to meet with representatives from more than 40 organizations looking to fill more than 450 full-time, part-time and seasonal positions when they attend the free Pasadena Job, College and Veteran Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Rose City Church in Pasadena.

Presented by Church Job Fairs and Rose City Coffee, the Pasadena Job, College and Veteran Fair will be held from 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. To register, visit www.rosecitychurch.org/job-fair or call (626) 792-1341. Rose City Church is located at 1801 E. Del Mar Ave. in Pasadena.

Military veterans, currently employed workers looking for new career opportunities and those who are presently unemployed are invited to meet with the many participating organizations that are looking to hire employees for jobs in accounting, administration, clerical, customer service, education, financial services, health care, nursing, law enforcement, management, manufacturing, non-profit, sales, transportation and more. On average, hourly pay rates range from $10-$22, but there are also an assortment of higher-level job openings.

Many of the region’s leading companies, government organizations, staffing agencies, nonprofit organizations and other businesses will participate. Along with full and part-time jobs, several organizations will be hiring to fill seasonal positions during the holidays.

The job fair will also feature various employment resources and higher educational opportunities, as well as information about Rose City Coffee, an organization affiliated with Rose City Church that offers homeless youth world-class barista training in the craft of coffee.

Job seekers should dress in business attire and come equipped with resumes.
