Fifteen and Counting…

It’s been 15 years of laughter, great food and beer for Matt Denny’s in Arcadia. When they first opened their doors on January 17, 1999, neither Dennis Hartman nor Matt McSweeny had any idea whether the business would go anywhere. But they built the place up, made up a backstory (about a legendary guy named Matt Denny), and now they’re celebrating.

As McSweeny says, “It’s been challenging, rewarding, eye-opening, fun, hair-raising, crazy, spiritual and more fun.”

The restaurant now features 28 handcrafted beers from local brewers, along with an extensive lunch and dinner menu. There’s live music, there’s a lively crowd and there’s the overall fun spirit of the place.

The popular ale house restaurant will celebrate their anniversary officially on Sunday, January 19, 2014 with “The Big Bash,” an all-day party featuring The Alumni Band, and, and reduced prices on all Matt Denny’s wear.

The event will also feature 15th Anniversary glassware and t-shirts.

Need another reason to come by? It’s Happy Hour all day, along with a complimentary appetizer buffet from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Matt will be there. Denny will, too.
