The First United Methodist Church of Pasadena will be hosting an electronic waste recycling drive and an attic sale on August 24 at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The public may bring any electronic devices except large appliances, toner cartridges, fluorescent bulbs and batteries of any kind.

Electronic appliances that may be recycled include televisions, computer monitors, computers (CPU’s), laptops, keyboards, printers, mice, hard drives*, fax machines, microwave ovens, DVD players, VCRs, cables and cords, telephones, cell phones, radios, shredders, stereo components, power supplies, tape and zip drives, all business and consumer electronic devices.

Meanwhile, the attic sale will include office furniture, display cases, pianos, house hold furniture and preschool furniture toys.

The attic sale will be held to make space in the building for more ministries, the Church said in a statement.

There will also be a Loaf and Fish Fest and Food Truck Jamboree from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., as well as live music and games.
