First United Methodist Church in Pasadena will present three members of the LA Philharmonic and pianist Junko Ueno Garrett in a concert of chamber music on Saturday, April 21 at 4:00 p.m. The free concert is one of the church’s monthly concerts offered on the third Saturday of each month.
The performers include clarinetist Michele Zukovsky, violinist Lyndon Johnston Taylor and cellist David Garrett. They will be joined by pianist Junko Ueno Garrett, coordinator of the Third@First Concert Series. (See below for links to individual performer profiles.) The program will include Alexander Zemlinsky’s Clarinet Trio, opus 3, and the Trio in B Major, opus 8, of Johannes Brahms.
First United Methodist Church is located at 500 E. Colorado Blvd, in the Playhouse District of Pasadena. Off-street parking is available behind the church and may be accessed from Green Street (a one-way street that runs east; access from Los Robles Avenue).
