Well-known food critic and Pasadena Now contributor Peter Dills will now be broadcasting KRLA Radio 870 AM every Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
Known as the “King of Cuisine” but also a lover of champagne, wine and beer, Dills will serve as your personal on-air guide to introduce you to extraordinary culinary and dining experiences.
He’ll shine the spotlight on delicious dishes prepared by accomplished chefs at well-known popular mainstays, as well as cuisine from the kitchens of chefs creating delicious ripples throughout the region.
Dills has already been scanning the region to feature the best restaurants in town, showcase unique dining experiences and to highlight area hot spots.
Call in and listen in as Dills reviews the different foods and culinary delights that Los Angeles has to offer.
He readily admits to being born into a world of food. The son of noted restaurant critic Elmer Dills, Peter and his family moved to Pasadena in 1970 from the “Crab Capitol of the World,” Baltimore.
As far back as he can remember Peter was following his father from restaurant to restaurant, always tasting, always learning about food and always discovering new and exciting foods.
“We all have to eat and most of us eat out fairly often. So, why not eat well? I feel that it’s my job to tell diners about some of the places where they can indeed eat well,” Dills said.
In Pasadena you can also watch the Peter Dills TV Review Show on Charter Channel 188 Saturday and Sunday at 5pm.
