Newly relocated Pasadena resident Frank Hurtarte has joined Kaiser Permanente Southern California’s leadership team as senior vice president of Human Resources for Pasadena-based Kaiser Permanente Southern California.
In his new role, Hurtarte, who will be based at the Pasadena corporate office, is responsible for delivering Human Resources strategy designed to deliver value focused on organizational strategic plans that include quality, service, access, affordability and People. He’s well positioned as a seasoned Human Resources executive with extensive experience leading employee/labor relations, learning and development, change management, talent management, disability management, benefit administration, compensation and diversity programs across large multi-million-dollar complex organizations.
Hurtarte will also serve as a member of the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Combined Group and the Joint Executive Team. Most recently, he served as vice president of Human Resources for Kaiser Permanente’s Northwest Region.
With the regional headquarters located in Pasadena, Kaiser Permanente Southern California includes nearly 74,500+ employees and staff, and more than 8,500+ Southern California Permanente Medical Group physicians providing high quality health care services to more than 4.6 million members at the Southern California Region’s 15 hospitals/medical centers and more than 230 medical offices.
