Free Children's Flashlight Egg Hunt this Friday at Farnsworth Park in Altadena

Kids from 3 to 16 and their families from around Altadena and Pasadena can join a free flashlight Egg Hunt on Friday, April 19, at Altadena’s Farnsworth Park, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The activity, hosted by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, will also feature face painting and coloring contests, according to an LA Parks announcement.

The Altadena Egg Hunt is one of several events this Easter weekend that the county has scheduled throughout different parks within Los Angeles. The events range from Easter breakfasts to dragon boat races to flashlight egg hunts, according to the Parks and Recreation department online calendar, www.parks.lacounty.gov/easter2019.

For the Farnsworth Park egg hunt, kids are advised to bring a flashlight, and an Easter basket for the eggs.

Farnsworth Park is located at 568 E. Mount Curve Avenue in Altadena.
