What started out as a beer-enhanced flight of fancy by a couple of locals in a popular Old Pasadena tavern in 1978 and has since evolved into the city's alternative parade that sticks to almost no rules and all fun – The Occasional Doo Dah Parade – celebrates its 40th year reveling with the area’s quirkiest characters this weekend.
