Supporters gathered to raise over $40,000 for the Future Stars Basketball Camp at the 12th annual Future Stars Charity Golf Tournament, which was held at the Glendora Country Club on Monday, April 17th, 2017.

“Great players are made not born,” said Eszylfie Taylor, founder of the Future Stars Basketball Camp. “Sports parallel life – they teach you how to win and how to lose [and] how to hone your skills.”

The camp focuses on offensive and defensive fundamentals to improve each camper’s individual game. Campers will compete in shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, and five-on-five games. The money raised goes towards scholarships for students to attend the camp. This year, Taylor announced the inaugural Eric Tracy Scholarship in honor of his mentor.

Taylor also owns Taylor Insurance and Financial Services and grew up in the Pasadena area before going on to a successful college basketball career at Concordia University.
