Armstrong Garden Centers will host two free holiday parties at all Los Angeles and Orange County locations this season: an Open House on Dec. 5 and Christmas Family Fun Hours on Dec. 7. Both events include special perks and one-time-only savings.

“It’s an annual Armstrong tradition to spread holiday cheer and give back to our customers,” said Gary Jones, Armstrong’s vice president of marketing. “We’ve decked our halls to show what’s in season and what we’ve grown. We hope to inspire everyone with our Christmas spirit at our events and encourage our customers to bring their friends and family.”

Armstrong’s Open House runs Thursday, Dec. 5, from 4 pm until 8:00 p.m. At each store location, Danish-style Christmas Kringles and Poinsettia champagne (champagne mixed with cranberry juice) will be served (restricted to 21+ adults only). Free custom tote bags will be distributed while supplies last.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, Armstrong’s Garden Centers will host Christmas Family Fun Hours from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Complimentary apple cider and tasty treats will be served. Visitors are encouraged to stage family photo shoots in front of a striking poinsettia tree displays.

Foremost among Armstrong Garden Centers’ California-grown plants are its signature poinsettias, recognized as one of the most diverse and comprehensive selections in the nursery market. Armstrong also grows delicate cyclamens in white, red and jewel-toned blooms that can be enjoyed inside and out. Another popular holiday bloom, paper-white narcissus, lends elegance and a pleasant perfume to every room.

Sourcing the freshest Christmas trees available, Armstrong airlifts its trees from Washington mountains and trucks them in packed snow directly to each garden center. The trees are then kept in standing water to retain optimal freshness and fragrance. Tabletop Fraser Firs, tree-shaped potted herbs, living holiday arrangements, and complete Christmas décor packages are also available, along with Noble Fir and cedar garlands (available by the foot), wreaths, lights, ornaments, and other holiday decor.
