Holy Family Church’s Middle School Students Spends A Week with Our Lady of Guadalupe and Rose Hills Middle School Youth

Holy Family Church’s Middle School Youth spends the week from 16th- June 20th with the middle school youth of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Rose Hills, for a week of community building, friendship and service.

For those who are on Holy Family Church’ EDGE Ministry, Middle school is a time of transition and transformation, moving from elementary school and getting ready for high school all at the same time. EDGE is a welcoming, exciting, fun community of sixth, seventh and eighth grade youth who gather weekly for friendship, fun, formation and service. Come and join as they learn together how to better love God, the neighbors and ourselves through study of Scripture, knowledge of the faith tradition and their commitment to discipleship deeds.

“We believe that God made each and every one of us unique and interconnected parts of the same body of Christ. We ask that all the youth who attend our ministry make a commitment to coming regularly and participating. That way when you leave at the end of the night you know more than when you came in and are ready to turn that knowledge into acts of love in your daily life.”

EDGE meets in the Eden Center on Wednesday nights from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and Thursday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
