Home Struck By Gunfire in Early Morning Incident

Police are investigating a report of shots fired in the 300 block of Linda Rosa Avenue in Pasadena. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, around 2 am.

Pasadena Police Lieutenant Pete Hettema said that a resident victim heard four to five gunshots in the area at that time. After checking and securing the safety of his family, the victim told police he looked outside and saw a patrol car passing by and assumed everything was ok. It was not till the daylight that he discovered that home had apparently been struck by gunfire.

It was then that he called the police, Lt. Hettema said.

Police responded and upon investigation, found evidence of a shooting.

There were no injuries and the investigation is continuing, Hettema said.
