The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino is ready for Easter Weekend, featuring a scrumptious Easter Brunch under the dome of the beautiful Rose Hills Foundation Garden Court on Saturday and Sunday, April 15 and 16, and a stroll in the breathtaking gardens.

Guests can also explore the galleries and exhibitions, and hop into the Huntington Store for some Easter goodies. You can ride your bicycle or drive to The Huntington. Parking is free.

Delicious cooked-to-order traditional brunch items with a locally sourced sustainable twist will be available during Easter Brunch. Two seating times are available: 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., at $85 per guest, and $40 for children under 12.

Admission to The Huntington is a separate cost but not required for those who wish to only attend brunch.

Current exhibitions at The Huntington gallery include Becoming America, at the Scott Galleries at Fielding Wing up to October 2019, showcasing more than 200 works from the Fieldings’ collection of 18th- and early 19th-century American art works, including paintings, sculpture, furniture, ceramics, metal, needlework, and other related decorative arts.

Orbit Pavilion will be on until September 4 this year at the Celebration Lawn; the outdoor installation is the brainchild of Dan Goods and David Delgado, visual strategists at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, who conceived an innovative “soundscape” representing the movement of the International Space Station and 19 Earth satellites.

Pugin, Prisons, and the Plight of the Poor is on until June 26 at the Huntington Art Gallery and Paper Room. The exhibition examines the history of British prisons and how artists and architects documented the social, political, and legal tensions surrounding prison reform and Poor Law debates in the British parliament during the 19th century.

Starting on Saturday, April 8, The Huntington presents the first major exhibition on the life of award-winning author Octavia E. Butler in “Telling My Stories.”

The Huntington is located at 1151 Oxford Road in San Marino.
