Pasadena Police report a burglar woke a couple in their Elliott Drive home in Pasadena at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday before he fled when a woman yelled and scared him off.

Lt. Pete Hettema said the couple was asleep in a bedroom on the second floor when they were woken by a shining flashlight and a male voice at their bedroom door.

One of the residents, a woman, yelled out and the suspect ran out the front door of the home, according to police. When police arrived, they found a ladder outside the home to a second-floor window.

There were no injuries, and nothing was stolen in the incident.

The suspect is still at large.
