Human Rights Attorney Bryan Stevenson at All Saints Church

Human rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson will speak in the All Saints Rector’s Forum at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 16. Founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative, a private, non-profit organization headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama. Stevenson is dedicated to helping the poor, the incarcerated and the condemned. One recent victory: A ban on sentences of life imprisonment without parole imposed on children convicted of most crimes in the U.S.

Stevenson is also a professor at New York University School of Law. He has gained national acclaim for his work challenging bias against the poor and people of color in the criminal justice system.
