Huntington Hospital Names Dr. Alix Nassiri as New Chairman, Medical Director of Chemical Dependency and Recovery Center

Dr. Alix Nassiri, Board Certified Addiction Medicine Physician, Anesthesiologist and Founder of REACH Wellness, has been named the new Chairman and Medical Director of the prestigious Huntington Memorial Hospital’s Chemical Dependency and Recovery Center in Pasadena.

Huntington Memorial is one of only a few hospitals in Southern California with a designated Detox/CDRC unit, and one of only two major hospitals in Los Angeles with this specialized unit.

As Chairman & Medical Director, Dr. Nassiri, who started his new position on August 1st, 2018, will provide medical oversight, leadership and management for all patient care activity for Huntington Memorial’s chemical dependency programs. Dr. Nassiri’s responsibilities will also include maintaining and optimizing standard of care, developing cutting-edge modalities and helping lead the fight against the opioid epidemic.

About Dr. Alix Nassiri: Dr. Nassiri is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine, Anesthesiology and EMDR trained, trauma focused clinician and Founder of REACH; a cutting-edge brain and body institute based in the Los Angeles area.
