Junior League of Pasadena Announces Fifth Annual Simply Speaking Fundraiser

The Junior League of Pasadena, Inc. (JLP) is hosting their 5th Annual Simply Speaking Benefit. The annual event is open to the public and will take place on Saturday, April 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club with tickets available for purchase beginning Tuesday, March 13. Guests will begin their evening by enjoying a tremendous selection of items for bid in the silent auction, followed by a live musical performance during cocktail hour, as well as dancing later in the evening. The dinner program in the Grand Ballroom of the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club will feature a live performance by recording artist Dani Carter, and a keynote address by Farnaz Esnaashari-Charmatz, creator and executive producer of Nickelodeon’s hit preschool series, Shimmer and Shine. Farnaz previously served as the post-production supervisor on a number of Nickelodeon series including Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go! Farnaz joins the Junior League’s list of exemplary women speakers which have contributed to the Simply Speaking Benefit in the past.


The silent auction will feature many exciting items, including beauty services, interior design services, restaurant certificates, and more.


Funds raised from the night will contribute to JLP’s focus on BELS (business, entrepreneurship and leadership skills) to empower women to break barriers in order to build futures and strengthen their communities. For information regarding donations, please contact
