Karen Benjamin and Alan Chapman Kick Off Third@First Concert Series at First United Methodist Church

The historic Sanctuary of Pasadena’s First United Methodist Church will be filled with the sound of classic American songs on Saturday afternoon, September 19 at 4:00 p.m. The opening event of the second season of Third@First concerts features the husband and wife duo, Karen Benjamin and Alan Chapman.

Alan and Karen have prolific and accomplished careers individually and collectively. As a husband and wife duo, they have performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, L.A.’s Music Center, and the Ford Amphitheater. Alan is familiar to Los Angeles area residents as the host of the morning program on KUSC radio. http://www.karenandalan.com.

First United Methodist Church is located at 500 E. Colorado Blvd, in the Playhouse District of Pasadena. Off-street parking is available behind the church and may be accessed from Green Street (a one-way street that runs east; accessible from Los Robles Avenue).

Admission is free; voluntary offerings will be received.
