Being a kid today is tough. Being a parent today is tougher. The presentation’s goal is to help parents when their kids report they have been teased or bullied at school—techniques for what parents can do and for what parents can help instill in their kids.
Patricia A. Engert, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist working in private practice in South Pasadena. She divides her time between private practice and academics as an Adjunct Professor at Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles and as an Affiliate Faculty Member at the Graduate School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary, where she both teaches and supervises graduate students.
Growing Families is a monthly seminar-type class at the La Canada Presbyterian Church for parents and grandparents, led by a variety of people; some are experts in the field of child development, psychology, and education while others are parents who offer to others what has worked for their families.
