On Thursday, October 5th, 2017, Cancer Support Community Pasadena held The 7th Annual Ladies Night Out 2017, an evening of entertainment, laughter, and commemoration. The celebratory benefit was created to honor the courageous women in the community who have been touched by cancer. The event was tiki-themed and t00 place at Pasadena’s concert venue, “The Rose”.

“Ladies Night Out is an annual favorite and proceeds from the event help underwrite the wide breadth of services we offer to ensure that nobody faces cancer alone.” said Michael Healy, the President of the Board of Directors at Cancer Support Community Pasadena (CSCP). “I had the pleasure of speaking briefly at last year’s event and everyone in the house was having a great time supporting Cancer Support Community – Pasadena.” Cancer Support Community Pasadena is celebrating its 27th year anniversary this year of serving cancer patients and their family members in the San Gabriel Valley.

Co-Chairwomen of Ladies Night Out 2017 were Samantha Knight, Michelle Mendez and Lyn Beecher Salembier. The evening  included games, live auction, raffle, drinks, dinner and live entertainment. Founding Benefactors included Ellen and Harvey Knell, General Finance Company, Terri and Jerry Kohl, Julie and Scott Nesbit, RBC Wealth Management and Rusnak Auto Group. Patron Society members are Melissa Alcorn/Anderson & Murison, Rosemari Annear, Becki Bales, LeAnn and Michael Healy, Marie and John Queen, Dana and Mike Naples, Sue and Steve Silk, Meg and John Symes, and Wells Fargo Private Banking.

“LNO was a fun evening filled with laughter and celebrating friendships. We had incredible auction items and prizes, and everyone enjoyed shopping and playing games for a wonderful cause”, affirms Danielle Gay, CSCP Events Coordinator. “The revenue from the event will touch the lives of so many people,” Gay added.
