Leadership Pasadena is the benefactor of an entertaining suggestion from local realtor, antique shop owner, and fundraiser Anthony Guthmiller’s to host an exciting, one of a kind tablescape design competition, called, “The Art of Conversation.” The fun evening will be held at the Hotel Constance Pasadena June 2 at 7 p.m.

Leadership Pasadena is also the appreciative recipient of Rusnak Auto Group’s partnership, headlining a group of sponsors presenting this new-to-Pasadena event, where talented, creative people in the community compete with their interpretation of the theme, “the art of conversation,” on an elegant banquet table to be judged by a panel of local artists and event attendees.

“I’m very excited to be part of the first annual “art of conversation”. The art of conversation means putting down your phone to be present in society.” says Liz Rusnak Arizmendi of the Rusnak Auto Group.

Anthony Guthmiller, artistic director for “The Art of Conversation” says “I am thrilled to be working on another exciting event with Liz Rusnak, and believe this party is the perfect conversation starter among the local creative community.”

Other event sponsors for “The Art of Conversation” include: Hotel Constance Pasadena, Wells Fargo, Jacob Maarse Floral Design, Maude Woods, San Antonio Winery, The Content Lab Creative Marketing, Realtor Barbara Richard King, Hahn and Hahn LLP, Plan Ahead Events, Taylor Insurance and Financial Services, Haydel Biel and Associates, and LionMark AVL Entertainment.

Leadership Pasadena Executive Director, Cynthia Bengtson remarks, “We are delighted to have the tremendous support of local businesses and we are especially grateful to Liz Rusnak’s assistance for our unique event! This event is going to be so special. Think elegant Rose Parade on banquet tables! Or Pinterest in Person! We are designing this evening to capture the imaginations, hearts and minds of our community in an innovative experience that we want to become an anticipated annual event. Our guests will have the unique opportunity to celebrate the powerful art of conversation and also be immersed in a dynamic collaboration of artists, leaders, and communicators – all coming together to support community leadership and our new Veterans Leadership Community Course starting in May 2018.”
