Options, a local child care agency which was recently awarded the Head Start program contract for Pasadena and five surrounding cities, was honored at the third annual Karen Kaye achievement awards program on June 29.

18 Options personnel received achievement awards, including Norma Morales for the second year.

The event was hosted by the Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles, which named the awards after their former executive director Karen Kaye who was “an amazing leader.”

Options is a charitable, non-profit agency concentrating on child development and Head Start services.

The Options delegation was headed by Options Deputy Director Kelly O’Connell, and included Alicia Barbosa, Irma Canal, Blanca Carrillo, Maria Casteneda, Violeta Castillo, Odena Chinchilla, Merrie Corbet, Theresa Dimidjian, Angelica Gozlez, Maria Gutierrez, Martha Huerta, Yin Jia Shi, Rosemary Marquez, Norma Morales, Ut-long Ng, Maria Ramirez, Anh Minh Vuong, and Bebo Yueng.
