Local Avon representatives come together to give over $8,000 in value through donation of 400+ Annie the Owl plush toys for kids fighting serious illnesses

A heartwarming event delivered smiles and comfort to children and families at Pasadena Ronald McDonald House on Tuesday.

Children being treated at the Huntington Memorial Hospital for serious illnesses received over 400 Annie the Owl stuffed animals on behalf of the Avon LA Sales Center.

These stuffed animals are a comforting gift to kids –often away from their home and their friends- who are fighting critical or terminal illnesses.

Avon has recently been committed to giving back to the younger citizens of Pasadena. This month, Avon and Avon Foundation made a donation to Shepherds Door Domestic Violence Resource Center in Pasadena.

The $15,000 grant from Avon will be used to continue to expand Shepherd’s Door Youth Violence Prevention Education to all the schools of Pasadena Unified School District.
