PCC’s Luis Flores Now Playing Pro Soccer in El Salvador

After leading the Pasadena City College men’s soccer team in scoring the past two seasons, forward Luis Flores has joined the professional ranks by becoming a member of the Santa Tecla FC in El Salvador. Santa Tecla plays in that country’s First Division.

In 2013, Flores was an All-South Coast Conference First Team selection, scoring eight goals with a team-high nine assists, in helping the Lancers reach the Southern California Regional Playoffs.

A two-year lettermen, Flores is No. 11 on PCC’s all-time points scoring list. He was directed at PCC by head coach Edgar Manvelyan and associate head coach Henry Cabral. A product of Pasadena High, Flores is originally from Mexico.
