Major Dave’s Chicken proudly supports and thanks all police officers and first responders on September 11th. Today they will donate 10% of sales to the Pasadena Police Department. They are open from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. The address is 163 N. Hill Ave. Next to Starbucks and share the free parking lot with them.

Major David Caldwell is a career U.S. Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq and one in Afghanistan before opening his own business, Major Dave’s Chicken, in Pasadena last year. He combines his love of fried chicken and quality ingredients with his military logistics background in this quick-service restaurant voted Pasadena’s Best New Restaurant in the 2014 Pasadena Weekly readers poll. Together with his wife Jill Bush, a longtime Pasadena educator teaching at Polytechnic School, Major Dave has introduced Pasadena to its first free range fried chicken restaurant. Come in for the chicken, then discover the sides, which include Whipped Garlic Cauliflower and Toasted Brussels Sprouts to name just a couple.
