So there’s that game this Sunday, your friends and office buddies are coming by, and you want to make sure you have more on your table than a jumbo-size bag of tortilla chips and some nuclear guacamole by-product served in its container?

The Flintridge Proper is catering on Super Bowl Sunday. Customers can order ahead of time, set the food out, and easily appear to have slaved all day creating a whole array of unique dishes. The game day menu features Mac & Cheese, Scorpion Duck Wings, Spicy Crab Dip, Deviled Eggs, Smooshed Potato Skins, a Wedge Salad, Truffley Grilled Ham & Cheeses.

Anyone looking for a jumbo bag of chips and nuclear guacamole can watch the game on the kids’ TV.

Customers can order their meals Saturday, February 1 until 1 p.m. and come pick up their “home-made” meals Sunday morning, February 2, beginning at 10 a.m., until 1 p.m.

It gets a lot better. The Proper will also deliver for free. Read that again. Free.

The Proper emulates the pubs of Ireland and England in creating an “authentically local” gathering place for friends and family of all ages to meet and celebrate.  There is also a higher level of service and cuisine than is normally found in traditional “mom and pop” restaurants, even if you and your buddies are just there to watch the game. Or pick up the catering.

Chef Kevin NaPier and the kitchen staff creates unique farm-to-table versions of classic American comfort food and regional specialties featuring locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients, making nearly everything from scratch.  Not just on game day.
