Pasadena police officers arrested a 20-year-old Pasadena resident Wednesday night after he allegedly struck a 41-year-old female relative with a whisky bottle and assaulted two other victims.
The incident occurred at about 11:34 p.m. in the 300 block of West Hammond Street in Pasadena, said Police Lt. Mark Goodman.
Goodman said the department dispatched a team of officers after receiving a call from a woman who reported the suspect was intoxicated and had assaulted her and other family members.
When the officers arrived on scene, they located the suspect and detained him without incident. He was identified by police as Eric Alarcon, 20, of Pasadena.
Goodman said that the suspect reportedly struck the first victim with the bottle, had bitten a second victim on the hand, and physically assaulted a third victim.
“The suspect was arrested for assault with an instrument likely to produce great bodily injury and booked at the city jail,” Goodman said.
The two other victims were a 31-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, all of them Pasadena residents.
Goodman said none of the three victims required medical attention after the incident.
