[Updated] Police said officers responding to a call of shots fired discovered a deceased 35-year-old Hispanic man inside a car in the 300 block of East Villa Street about 1:36 a.m.Tuesday. He had been shot to death.
There is little known at this time about the man or the murder, Pasadena police Lt. Max Dahlstein said.
He did not disclose the man’s identity. He said he did not how many times the man shot.
Dahlstein said Pasadena detectives had been on scene all morning starting their investigation. The Los Angeles County Coroners office has taken custody of the body, he said.
The homicide is the city’s third this year. At this time last year there had been four murders in Pasadena.
