Man Punched, Robbed of Cellphone Along Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena

Police are seeking a man and woman who attacked a man and robbed him of his cellphone in Pasadena late Monday.

The crime took place about 10:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena police Sgt. Bobby Crees said.

A 35-year-old man was talking on his phone when the suspects approached, he said. The man punched the victim in the face and grabbed his cellphone.

Crees said the robber and his female accomplice were last seen speeding away in a black sedan.

They were described as a Black man of about 25 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 150 pounds, accompanied by a young Black woman of about 17 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 125 pounds.
